Red Rose Web Design Portfolio

This is my first lesson in the Red Rose Web Design classes.
The lesson shows how to make a basic page with a couple of borders.

First of all, we had to decide on an image, I am a big fan of creddyworld and decided to
use one of their tubes for my first lesson (maybe I will use them for the full portfolio).......grin!!
We the had to choose some colours from it, and make the rest of the page to compliment
the main graphic.

Here are the colours I used.

Then I made three backgrounds, which are as follows
One Plain Background using the pale pink in the swatch

One Gradient Background using the pinks from the swatch

And Finally a patterned tile using the pale pink and pale grey

To make the effect of the pattern, I airbrushed some gray splashes
onto the pink then used the quick tile from simple filters.

Finally I had to make an entrance button that would link to the next page of my portfolio.
